1.Plant Visit Tours
3 plant visit tours will be arranged to visit remarkable plants.

Place to visit: 1. Komatsu Ltd. Osaka Plant
  -Construction Equipment Shop
We will introduce two assembly lines. First line assembles a mixture of more than 20 types of large-sized machines such as bulldozers, hydraulic excavators and mobile crushers. The other line is for 10ton to 40ton hydraulic excavators line, you will see automated assembly and parts delivery system, we call FA (factory automation).
-Gear-Machining Plant
We introduce you the gear machining area for small and medium sized construction equipment. This area has latest heat treatment and robot technology robots, those technologies realize flexible production.
2. Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd, Osaka Steel Works
-Die Forging Shop: the world's largest class 16,000-ton high-speed forging press line for crankshafts and front axles of trucks
-Wheel Mill Shop: 9,000-ton hydraulic press, rolling mill and inclined rotary dishing press for railways wheels only produced by us in Japan
-Bogie Truck Shop: assembly of bogie truck including Shinkansen

Place to visit: 1. Kobe Steel, Ltd. Takasago Works
Kobe Steel's steel castings and forgings have earned on outstanding reputation in international markets. In addition to marine crankshafts and propeller shafts, Takasago Works supply rotor shafts and turbine blades to the power generation industry and manufacture a wide range of metal molds for plastics.
2. Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. Akashi Works
The plant tour will be conducted at Motorcycle Assembly Plant.
The flexible and well-developed application of information technologies to our production process allows us to maintain efficient production and provide high quality high-precision products.
